Thanksgiving: Desserts for Kids

Yesterday I shared with you my Thanksgiving dessert recipes round-up in all my favorite Autumn flavors:  pumpkin, pecan, bread pudding, cheesecake, pie and some new-to-me vegan options, including a salted caramel pecan fudge that looks amazing (and just so happens to be vegan).  It’s definitely on my to-make list for the big meal!

Today I’m back with the super fun + creative talents of food bloggers who have created dessert ideas for kids.  Some of these ideas are more time-consuming, like the sugar cookies decorated with royal icing, but most of them use simple ingredients and are a perfect pre-Thanksgiving activity for the kids to help you whip up!  So break out the chocolate and sprinkles and have a play-with-your-food day with your kids or grandkids–a perfect idea to keep them occupied during all those days off school next week!

And just because I think these are brilliant… pie crust name place cards from You Are My Fave.

Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions you do with your kids or kid-favorite recipes?  I’d love to hear!

Lisa :)
